Returns & Refunds

We aim to treat every customer like royalty whether you are the Queen, a Queen, the Queen's corgi or a member of Queen. Hell, we'll even treat Joe Public like admiralty as long as you tickle us in advance.

If for any reason you are not entirely satisfied with any purchase from Pants People, we'll happily exchange it or give you a full refund, but please ensure it's returned to us unworn, unwashed, with labels intact and in its original condition & packaging. For hygiene reasons, we unfortunately cannot accept returns of underwear or socks which have obviously been worn (otherwise, we would have to walk around with nose clips on all day long and that's so not a good look).

It is therefore advisable for customers and gift receivers to try all new underwear on over existing underwear to see whether the size is right.

UK Returns

  • Please return items within 14 days of receiving your order and allow up to 4 days for postage (so it's best to post the item back within 10 days of receipt).
  • Please ensure you obtain proof of postage from the post office which you should hang onto until you've received your refund or replacement or until the Monster Raving Loony Party gets into Number 10 (whatever comes sooner).
  • Please note we cannot refund postage costs for returned goods but we'll be tickled pink to pay for the postage if you've ordered replacement items.

Europe & International Returns

  • Please return items within 30 days of receiving your order and allow up to 10 days for postage (so it's best to post the item back within 20 days of receipt).
  • Please clearly mark the package as 'RETURNED GOODS' to avoid any delays at customs.
  • Please use an insured, trackable shipping service and keep all relevant documentation in the event the item gets lost and you have to make a claim with the carrier.
  • Please note we cannot refund postage costs for returned goods outside of the UK and we'll need to charge additional postage costs for replacements (charged to the original cardholder).

Surprise Gift Receivers

If you have received a gift from someone who fancies you (or your mother), you can return the items (as described above) but please note that the person who fancies you (or your mother) will be notified of any returns, refunds or replacements. This is because refunds can only be issued to the card which was used to pay for the goods.

Please note we cannot offer credit notes.

If you would like a more expensive replacement than your gift, we'll need to get in touch with the cardholder first to get his/her permission and grovel on your behalf. You can also chip in the difference using your card, so please include your payment details and contact details with the returned item, if you wish to do this so we can get in touch with you on the blower.

  • Gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash (or ice cream).
  • Surprise Gift charges won't be refunded if goods are returned. We also unfortunately cannot gift wrap any replacements, so if you've received a gift card with the original order, you should keep this or there'll be tears at bedtime.

This does not affect your statutory rights. (We mention this because every shop and website under the sun says the same old thing, even if we don't have a darn clue what it means*)
